Abundant Life Pregnancy Resource Center
To be a lifeline for people experiencing pregnancy decisions and parenting needs in a safe and encouraging environment.

Alzheimer’s Coalition of Henderson County
Provides support services for caregivers affected by Alzheimer's and related dementia's by providing respite care for qualified caregivers of those with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Breaking Chains 
Provides services, support and resources to individuals impacted by domestic violence and raise public awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence with Henderson County.


C.A.S.A.
Advocates for children in the custody of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Celebrate Forever Families
Emergency shelter, residential facility for mothers and children leaving domestic violence. 24/7 crisis hotline. Outreach program for ladies caught up in sex trafficking and ladies incarcerated for non-violent crimes.

Community Food Pantry in Tool, Texas
Food pantry and additional social support service for clients Distribute additional boxes to Seniors, provide SNAP, Medicare savings, child healthcare benefits through TX Health and Human Resources, assistance with Social Security and SSI applications. 100% volunteer organization. 

Disciples of Christ in Action
Faith-based "gap" clinic to serve the working uninsured in Henderson County with medical and dental care. Kid-friendly food to almost 100 elementary students. 100% volunteer organization. 

East Texas Arboretum and Botanical Society
Display, research and interpret the natural environment of the plants communities of East Texas and provide educational activities for children and adults. 

Eustace ISD Snack Pack
Provides extra weekend nutrition to children identified by counselors and teachers as needing food for the weekend. 100% volunteer organization. 

Faith in Action Outreach

Food pantry, clothing closet, medical prescription program, emergency utility assistance, counseling and “weekend, kid-friendly” food to almost 100 elementary students. 100% volunteer organization.

Friends of the Animals

Low cost spay/neuter clinic. Low-cost heart-worm preventative and vaccinations.

Henderson County Performing Arts

All volunteer organization which has been providing theater productions in our community for over 50 years. Summer camp program for children & youth where they perform a play at the end of camp.  No child is ever turned away from camp due to inability to pay.  

Henderson County Rainbow Room
Provides emergency and stabilizing supplies for Henderson County CPS workers during child removals. Henderson County CPS workers bathe the children, give them new clothes, shoes, pajamas and a special toy to help relieve the trauma of going into a foster home.

Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake
Animal shelter caring for approximately 1,500 animals per year. by providing medical care and monthly transportation of animals to parts of the US for quick placement into forever homes that greatly reduces the need to euthanize animals in Henderson County.

Kaufman County Children’s Shelter

Emergency residential provider for children referred by CPS.  Staffed 24/7 by people trained to work with children adjusting from unhealthy homes. 

Library of Cedar Creek Lake
Located in Seven Points and serves all the communities around the greater Cedar Creek area. Summer reading programs for kids.  Offers adult literacy, GED, college prep, ESL, computer training, job fairs, and Texas Work force programs.  

Love in Action

Providers for the homeless of Henderson County by offering shower and laundry facilities, hot lunches, temporary shelter during inclement weather, tents, snacks etc. Clothes & tips for those interviewing for employment. Rents a small house with space to temporarily house a homeless woman with her children. 

Mabank Fire Department

Volunteer fire department, rescue and first responder services.  Serves as back up for Payne Springs VFD for emergency needs. 

Men’s Life Center (Lila Lane Outreach)
Residential facility designed to help men recovering from addiction and other destructive behaviors by providing professional counseling, life skills, parenting, & financial management classes, substance abuse & recovery groups.

Payne Springs Fire Rescue
Volunteer fire department, rescue, and 1st responder services. Serves Pinnacle. 100% volunteer. Request for funds for personal thermal cameras to increase firefighters’ safety.  

The Family Peace Project
Works with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Henderson County. Provides a safe home for protection. 

Tri-County Library
Located in Mabank. Provides resources, technology and educational opportunities for the Henderson, Van Zandt and Kaufman counties and an annual summer children’s reading program.  Developed and installed a new Story Trail in the George Watts Memorial Park.

Ten (10) $2,000 scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors in the Cedar Creek Lake area.
